The Jara lamp was designed by CASA&JARDÍN in the 1990s.
The Jara lamp takes its name from the Mediterranean bush which can be found in the Spanish countryside.
Due to their straightness and consistency, its stems and branches were formerly used as needles for sewing the hooks and traps for rabbits and partridges.
Like the bush, the lamp seems to sprout from the floor and presents the flower at the top in the form of a lamp shade, which gently lights a metallic stem which is embraced in its central part by a cylinder covered in coloured leather sewn by hand by our leather worker.
Thanks to its shape and combinations of colour and materials, it brings Mediterranean countryside into the contemporary domestic space.
